hahaha Believe it or not there is some decent Mex food up here. Not much but there is. I remember not long after first moving up here I went to the grocery store to get some tortillas and I couldnt find them so I ask one of the grocery monkeys and he was like "huh?!?", I said you know the things you make burritos with? He said OHHH you mean "Soft Wraps!". hahaha

Where did you come from prior to Minnesota? Also I have a friend (he's 23 like me) moving to Minneapolis Minnesota, he's a good guitarist and likes the heavy.

Though he's kind of a hipster or was last I saw him in person.

Yeah but that's one thing I love about them. No regard for their image it's all an almost-joke. Very punk attitude towards the "goth" image.

Born and raised in Tucson Az. Hipsters are just dumbies who look like they are from Mn anyways. So he should fit right in. Minneapolis has a great music scene even though its kinda lacking in the stoner/doom dept. He shouldn't have much trouble finding people to play with though.

Well that was the most fun I've ever had playing live. I hope this venue sticks around. Great food, arcades, pinball, beer and atmosphere. We put close to 300 people through the door. That was the most money we've ever made in one night too. Our record release show in July is going to be awesome. The worst part is I don't ever want to play anywhere else again

Damn I miss pinball machines. Congrats on the stellar gig!

Lol my parents can't tell my gear apart and neither could my ex I could buy anything at all and they'd never know. I was telling Joe, my dad tells people I play the bass drums.

My bass vi is a source of supreme confusion because my dad loves being right and he calls it a guitar because it has 6 strings and basses can only have 4?!?

Living in my one bedroom three hours away from them the have even less of a clue.

My friend just came buy and bought my SG. He dropped off his Gibson V bass for me to check out and do a little clean and setup. I snapped some pics and recorded some quick clips. I don't normally like neck pickups really close to the fretboard, but this one sounded pretty good.

Ha, if you had some vintage original 12" GI Joe stuff or maybe some NFL collectables or mint in package Star Wars figures he probably would go for it, but I'm pretty sure it's a cash fundraiser.

Speaking of which, I'm unloading my Sunn Beta Bass. I offered it up to my bandmate first, since I've let him borrow it a bunch, but he's saving his pennies for recording with his other band. If anyone on here wants it, I'll give you guys priority before I put it up locally or in the classifieds.
