I want to try something like that especially since one of my stereo amps died recently but I don't know if my vintage Polks or JBL's would handle the power of an instrument amp.
The poopy thing is, we had a gig on the books for the 24th. I had time off for it and everything. The singer/guitar player thinks he is going to learn 4 hours of music in a week and a half and they are going to play the show as a 3 piece. Good luck on that. Not easy to sing and play a whole bunch of music on a new instrument.
I will find something new, no worries on that front. I get called a few times a month asking about fill in gigs, one of those will pan out I am sure.

I wonder if it wasn't more motivated by $$$ than some bullsh*t excuse about your schedule. If they're not bringing in a replacement it means one less person to split the pay with. Lame either way.
There has been a lot of strife because I dont have a fluid schedule anymore. Last practice the singer gave me sh!t because I was using notes for one new song. I reminded him that he was using lyric sheets for that song, and half a dozen other songs, that we had been playing for months. His response was along the lines of, "Yeah... well... I have to learn the music and the words, you just have to play bass...."
Ugh, yeah I'd say you're better off. Like you said, you'll find another group.
I kind of what to go to their show. One of the songs we play as a staple is Hump De Bump. Not incredibly difficult, but singing and playing the bass line is going to be a challenge.
I have guitar ADD I will learn the main riff or chord progression of some band's song and then get bored with having to repeat it and move on to noodling. I need to play with other's again to keep me on track. or buy a stun gun and have the ol' lady shock me when I go back to noodling. When we have the radio on in the car and the guitar solo comes on, she says you are that guy all the time, then I say nope I'm not that good LOL.
So in easy terms can you explain why it effects dispersion? Ive also heard that you should have the second dually with the baffle reversed so that all the ports are together. Why is that important?

Julien must of not had the Squier at practice or it would of been like that swing away scene in Signs with the singer playing the alien part.
Sounds like the guy was bound and determined to find a reason to clash with you Julian. You're better off, you'll find something else that's a better fit.
Port location doesnt matter. Cross firing your woofers means you take a lot of comb filtering out of the equation.
