That type of circuit may not like certain pedals in front of it.

definitely experiment with your order - in my experience any pedal before it it doesn't work out well because of the super sensitive input. it is set up on the board so my bridge pickup goes directly into it - then it goes directly into an amp. i mute by switching to neck pickup only.

this is definitely true. i wouldn't give up the interaction between guitar volume/pedal input by putting a pedal before it either. maybe a passive volume pedal, if that, to control it with feet.

I'll have to keep these things in mind. Most of the play time I have had with it thus far has been without the rest of my board. I do really like the speaker cranker in front of it, but I have much experimenting to do. As it stands, I have the speaker cranker and a Rat in front of the Cthulhu. Though that may change, Cthulhu will stay.

Port location doesnt matter. Cross firing your woofers means you take a lot of comb filtering out of the equation.

I would go wider than 90. 135* or so... It may not look as cool or as imposing, but I have yet to see the science be disproved.

On my way to practice last night and both drummer and guitar player called in while I was driving.
Guitar player was stuck on a last min PRI install and drummer injured himself at work.

Gonna suck cause he planted a screw bit into his hand between the thumb and index finger. Thats gonna take some time to heal. He's Right handed I believe, time to learn jazz grip.

LOL. So we currently practice in what is essentially a band rehearsal warehouse with a bunch of different rooms that is owned by a local storage unit chain company. After jamming for about 30 minutes last night, some girl knocked on our door and asked if we could keep it down because they were rehearsing for a classical performance they were performing the next day. I told her we'd do our best but our amps are inherently loud and there wasn't much we were going to be able to do considering my Orange was already at 1 out of 10. Later I walked out into the hall way and heard like 7 other rock bands playing. No way were they able to properly rehearse. Who tries to have a classical rehearsal at a jam spot with mostly metal bands?

Actually he is a fairly good guitarist. But playing moving, or off rhythm lines is hard to do while singing IME.

I really do like just stacking one on top of the other.

Really though if you're worried about science and using 3 cabinets, you've got 2 of the wrong cabinets.
