Just lost what i typed. Short version, try rotos, chromes ok, labella's might be too dark, and not bigger then .105.

How bright ate Rotos?

Edit: quick and dirty, and sloppy playing rounds first then flats. Rotos almost sound like a dead round.

Thanks Sam. The slow-moving process of finding a vocalist is getting frustrating. Wish we could find someone and get it over with so we can begin to record seriously.

I would say if you feel that songs are strong enough then go ahead and record. Vocals can always be added later. don't wait too long because then you'll get in a rut and things start to fall apart. just keep moving forward.

Well right now we have 5 complete songs. We wrote the majority of two more on Tuesday. One of the strong points of this band is to be able to consistently write. It is pretty impressive.

So I just ordered a P bass pup ashtray, but its not for the P bass.

I think it'd be super cool if you had the bridge cover too. Really cool idea, it gives the 'wick a great vintage vibe. Almost makes me want to get a pup/bridge cover for my Ibby P.

By the way, the main reason why I posted this was so you guys could hear the 7 Pro in a band setting. I am even more impressed by this amp after hearing it on the recordings. I think it will be dethroning my VR.
