Store with best bass selection in the US

Interested in the best stores to try out a bunch of different instruments. Hopefully this would include some that you can't find in any old Guitar Center.

It would also be nice if they had a great bass amp and cab selection, too.

At some point in the next year, I want to take a trip and wouldn't mind going throwing a visit to a great instrument store in at the same time. Heck, I'd even be open to stores outside the US...

Bass Shop, Seattle. (I havent been to this one, but the owner used to run a store called Bass NW which was incredible. I think the store just got reengineered and moved across town.)

About Us | The Bass Shop

House of Guitars, Rochester NY. Not Bass-specific, but tons of inventory. I really like the amp room :bassist:
I do believe @godofthunder59 can tell you more.

The Seattle one would be perfect. I moved out to California earlier this year and have been looking for an excuse to visit the Pacific NW, which is the only area of the continental US I haven't visited. Maybe I'll even hop over to Vancouver while I'm at it.

I bought my '04 MG 4003FL from Adam at Bass NW many years ago, and a couple others thing that I can't recall.

Bass Central in Orlando, FL. is the best place with an amazing selection of basses, amps, and other related gear. It's all the good stuff so when you tire of the :poop: at Guitar Center, Bass Central will have what you really want & need.

Don't know if it's the best, never seen it: Invalid Link Removed

I went to Jive Sound once a few years ago and it is a really good shop, some quality basses and amps there. The owner is a web designer by day and he does not like to spend his off hours on web design so beware that his website, while not bad, is not up to date as to what he actually has in stock. If coming from out of town I would recommend emailing or calling first.
