Streamliner by Bugera?

Didn't that cat from Behringer post a while ago that they were working on a design for an upcoming micro? Maybe that's what we're seeing?

If so I'll be certainly be looking at it seriously. Opinions about Behringer aside (including conversations about generous wattage ratings) most of the Bugera bass gear has a good to excellent reputation.

And, because it's Bugera there have to be tubes involved somewhere.

I've had a Bugera 6262 Infinium for about a year. It's an extremely impressive amp, especially for the money, even sitting on top of the Bugera cab, and I haven't had a single problem, keeping fingers crossed.

I've also had an NU1000 for about two years. Actually bought it cheap off of here. It's a good amp, as long as you understand that it doesn't put out as many watts as they claim.

If they took a good bass preamp and married it to one side of an NU6000, I could see it being a killer little amp, especially if they marketed it in the 1000-1500 watt range instead of 3000 watts, like they would normally do, and sold it between $400 and $500.

3 x 12AX7 tubes, Baxandall EQ, $499 USD

... and sitting on new cabinets that appear to be Bugera's take on Ampeg's PRO NEO line! ;)

There is more than marketing that goes into these. The features are real nice and the Dynamizer compressor works very well. I had a BX300 before and I cranked that sucker up for a good hour trying to keep up with a band (30w, 10" woofer/tweeter) and it took the abuse like a champ.
The whole "Veyron" thing is iffy because that is a Bugatti car (fastest in the world) and they actually show a car engine on the page for the amp!! Did they pay Bugatti?
