Strinberg owners? Am I the only one?

I still need to buy an AMP. We've got one for an electric guitar but I'm pretty sure it's not going to work. I'm so in over my head!

If you have a keyboard amp that will work. Or plug right into the main mixer.

The Strinberg arrived today! It is beautiful. It was supposed to be shipped in a hard case in a packing box etc. Instead it was shipped in a cardboard box with just a little bubble wrap around the neck and brown paper every where else. There wasn't nearly enough paper to keep it from rattling around in the box. I'm taking it into our guitar guy to have him go through it. I really hope all is good because I love the way it feels and don't want to have to swap it out for another one.

This is the first I've heard of them. I like the looks and the configuration of the CLB-44A.
What kind of money do they run?

I'd never heard of them either. I had a really hard time finding anything out about them. The talkBass site has had the most info actually . I think they range in around $300 new and $200 used. the one I just got is a used Lefty. It was $180 with the case and shipping etc. I'm not sure if I got a good deal or not. I can't wait to plug it in and see how it sounds.

Hi Guys,

I live in Brazil, and I'm planning to buy one of these bass guitars, the Strinberg CLB 35A.
It looks really nice as most of Strinberg instruments.

They are from Brazil indeed and it is a well known brand in there.
However most "musicians" avoid these "lesser" brands in favor of better known brands, such as Takamine, Gibson, Etc. It's like a status thing if you have even the worst and cheaper models of these instruments since they are EXTREMELY expensive in Brazil.

But the model I'm after seems to be really good.
I'm yet to test it at a local dealer, but so far I've seen some really good reviews about it and even the bassist of a well known and respected band in Brazil uses it.

Yes! I managed to find a used one in my local GC for $130!! I am not sure how a Strinberg ended up near the Canadian border but I will take it! Phenomenal instrument!

I recently purchased a Strinberg in December, and I'm really enjoying it. It's my first bass, a CAB-16, and I like it a lot. I bought it from a local guitar shop and I've never been able to find anything about it in English, so I guess this explains why. I think it's a good bass, but I don't know much about them so maybe it really sucks.

Im necromancing this thread, but It's the few place where I find info about this brand.

Im an owner of a Strinberg, a CLB25. I've never heard anything about them before buying it, and I've never heard anything after buying it either. I remember seeing 5 string fretless bass crazy cheap, and I just bought. I wasn't looking for one, but I couldn't let it pass. I used it quite a bit, but the fretless work wasn't the best (was defretted by previous owner) so I ended up leaving it in a corner. Just today, after 3/4 years I tried to revive it. I started by putting some old strings and playing it. It actually felt very nice. It need some luthier work, so I'll definitely send it to repair as soon as I can
