Stuart Zender compressor?

Not to be lynched but Paul Turner's tone is far better and not a compressor in sight on his board (Obviously there is something nice between him and the final sound we hear but it's not overly compressed)

I think Zender had so many different tones that it's hard to pin down one that's specifically him. There's also ALOT of keyboard on those tracks

The reason I simplified my comments down to "the Zender tone" is not because he only has one tone, or because that is "the best Jamiroquai tone", but only because the tunes Eric and Aqueous and others posted saying "how can I get that tone" all had a super thick dark heavily compressed sound. Barring his technique, his bass, his strings, his amp settings, etc. if somebody wants a compressor to get that sound then here you go.
