I'm going back to the Fat Wreck Wiki.
*runs away*
one thing i hate that young people like is constant masturbation.
w t f is that?? is that another young people thing???
I think that's a Thunderscreech thing.
But, Carlos, I think you're forgetting something:
Humping a Snuggie into blissful submission is basically the same as using Lefty.
um, let me get back to you on that.
I don't see how having a tri-boot computer counts as multitasking. Or telling someone to read and click yes/continue. Generalizations don't work when the person you are talking to doesn't fit the stereotype.Stuff you hate that young people like
The erroneous beliefs that they can effectively do many things well at once (multi-task) and that the reasons for their perceived short comings lie outside of their own limited capacity to pay attention or retain detail.
Exhibit #1:
Sorry, Nappa... You wanna swim with the big fish, you may end up in water that's over your head.
P.S. - Honestly, I don't mean to pick on you. I just couldn't resist. If my light hearted jab offends you, please feel free to rant about it in the "What old people do" thread.
Oh, yeah... that one got shut down for some reason... hmmm...
But seriously - no hard feelings, man!
When did I blame others for my own problems? When I said the administrators said we had poor standardized test scores, but very good in-class scores?I hate it when young people blame others for their own problems.
I have seen many adults try to multitask and fail horribly. I also know many senior citizens (age 70 and above) who love to multitask.Multi-task: a phrase coined by the ADD crowd that refers to the starting of many tasks and the completion of none.
With this I agree. Most of the last remaining good comedy died with the passing of George Carlin.

If any of this seems like an "angry" response, grow up or please be quiet.
Well with the expectation to be serious comes the the expectation that one should act seriously.I hate how young people take things so seriously.

I agree with both parts. Why not act honestly on the internet? Why create a persona to use while on the internet? Why not be yourself as you would be in the real world? Sure I am not this serious in the real world, but I am not among adults most of the time when I speak as I am here.My definition of multi-tasking was not age specific. It is my belief that people of all ages, genders, and ethnicities suck at multi-tasking yet believe they are being efficient. In reality they are doing a half-assed job of several things and often never complete these half-assed jobs. By my math that makes for a quarter-assed job which is a lousy score regardless of age.
Yes, yes. This internet stuff is very serious business.
I think you may be taking yourself too seriously . . . which is another thing that young people like that I hate![]()
Stuff you hate that young people like
[metaphorically steeped comment]
When they step in big pile of doo doo, proceed to go running through the nice, clean house where an adult party is in session, and when called on it, start a litany of explanations, excuses and "anything but ME" comments in a vain effort to convert the reality of the situation into a fantasy that doesn't have them square in the center of the blame target.
You know who you are!

Note: "young people" is clearly a state of mind and not necessarily tied to a chronological component in some cases. IF any of these examples of things that get under "an old person's" skin bother you, please direct your humorless, snide and otherwise counter-thread-intent responses, complaints, monologues to: www.getoveryourself.com.
And smile! It's Friday.
Thank you
