I've only heard the Earl Coleman/Bird version (with vocals), but there is alledgedly a nice Chet Baker version. Neal Miner does this as a bass feature on THE REAL NEAL, which I once again encourage everybody to get.

Coincidentally, this tune is also on the Peter Bernstein + 3 record " Stranger In Paradise", which also contains Autumn Serenade, and which I encourage everybody to get. They bad, too.

It's interesting how certain tunes can become "popular" again after falling into obscurity.

I've got it on several things. My favorite is as a bonus cut on the Rahsaan Roland Kirk boxset. I think it is one of the tunes where he is backed by Elvin Jones, Jaki Byard, and Richard Davis.

Another good recording is on the Ray Brown Trio (somewhat of a compilation) cd Walk On.

Another really good one is on Sonny Stitt's "Sonny Stitt", a Chess release where even the band is not known, but Stitt is really blowing.
