Just received a new SUHR Classic J Bass. Hoping this will stop my craving for a '60s Jazz Bass.

Great bass! John does excellent work. I’ve had a Suhr strat for about 15 years now; it’s a very resonant guitar and a joy to play. I hope your bass brings you similar enjoyment.

There is a trick involved in having a suhr p-bass... the nordstrand/suhr connection....sssshhhhh

I went to Nashville in January to meet an old running buddy from Atlanta and catch my man Michael Rhodes playing with Pat McLaughlin. While I was there, I visited Gruhn guitars and played a Suhr J. What killed me was the even volume at every position on the neck. The problem was, we went in the morning. If I'd shown up in the afternoon after a couple three cold ones, I'd have put it on my credit card.

That is a real beauty. I admire that Suhr has stayed true to a vision of super high quality passive four string Jazzes.
