@Beej In the Partial Build category, two basses are competing. Voters will have a hard time trying to cast three votes.

And in the Non-Bass category, you're asking voters to vote for all three of us. Not that I'm complaining, but....
The irony here was not lost on me and I was giggling about this as I put up the threads. :smug: Should make for some interesting vote counts! :roflmao:

If we ever get some major sponsorships and have a pool of prizes to give out, we can tighten up the voting to satisfy contestants, voters and any other stakeholders. For this one, enjoy 3 votes on your two choices! :roflmao:
There's a simple solution. We need to build more instruments so that this kind of thing doesn't happen in the future!

In all seriousness, if you prefer one instrument over the other(s), you can just leave a single vote. Easy as pie.

now the Assembly category is tough :/ I love my own but i'm in love with another too....
Same ;)

And to echo the sentiments above, I love that build offs happen. NBD posts are great, but seeing the amazing things the creative and talented people come up with here and seeing a build come together is a next level of gear fetishism that makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

Making bass build threads, I love documenting it. Writing copy with humor (hopefully) I try to include the boo-boo's along with the successes...
I've learned so much from other's misdirected efforts, allowing me to avoid those pitfalls. Thus-far I have been able to avoid too many repeat efforts: so it's always new territory!
FUN and gratifying.
