Thanks, Beej! I think I already know my #1 overall, but need to take my time to decide on the others. So many incredible entries!Okay the voting threads are all up. Very sorry for the extended delay.
Summer Build Off 2022 Voting - Scratch Build
Summer Build Off 2022 Voting - Partial Build
Summer Build Off 2022 Voting - Assembly Build
Summer Build Off 2022 Voting - Non-Bass Build
The irony here was not lost on me and I was giggling about this as I put up the threads.@Beej In the Partial Build category, two basses are competing. Voters will have a hard time trying to cast three votes.
And in the Non-Bass category, you're asking voters to vote for all three of us. Not that I'm complaining, but....
Should make for some interesting vote counts!

There's a simple solution. We need to build more instruments so that this kind of thing doesn't happen in the future! If we ever get some major sponsorships and have a pool of prizes to give out, we can tighten up the voting to satisfy contestants, voters and any other stakeholders. For this one, enjoy 3 votes on your two choices!![]()
Now that you say this, I realise I've done exactly this in the past.In all seriousness, if you prefer one instrument over the other(s), you can just leave a single vote. Easy as pie.
As a DNS (start) myself, I echo this. I wish I could have competed, but then again the field is something else.As a DNC I don’t feel worthy.
But, the great builds and builders who finished deserve our support, I thoroughly enjoyed and learned something from watching all of the build threads.
Samenow the Assembly category is tough :/ I love my own but i'm in love with another too....
Making bass build threads, I love documenting it. Writing copy with humor (hopefully) I try to include the boo-boo's along with the successes...Same
And to echo the sentiments above, I love that build offs happen. NBD posts are great, but seeing the amazing things the creative and talented people come up with here and seeing a build come together is a next level of gear fetishism that makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
