I thought it was great. Chili peppers looked like huge goofballs, but john frusciante's guitar solo was killer! EDIT: Josh Klinghoffer's solo ;) sorry guys.

Highlight ... Bruno Mars bassist's gold sparkle bass. Oh yes.

RHCP stunk. They can't carry Bruno's jock.

Mars and his band KILLED. Fantastic talent, Mars.

I hope this is a joke..... I mean, the whole show was great, but RHCP is arguably one of the best bands ever and definitely one of the best active bands today. I'm not a huge fan of the Chili Peppers' music, but to state that they 'stink,' is absurd. I guess they've been around so long that it's now 'cool,' to say they suck...

Got this from my pal at from the Custom Shop.

They didn't show it at halftime. Their music was a real mismatch and they came off completely out of place. Mars looked and sounded classy and they looked stupid running around half bare-assed and completely shifting the sound of the music. Maybe they just drew the short straw from a music director who didn't have a clue, but their performance was a failure.

Agree to disagree...

I found it to be unwatchable/unlistenable. No question there's a boatload of talent there, but to me, it was an over-the-top example of style over substance, which is the antithesis of why I play music and listen to music. Didn't see the peppers.
