Super Pawn Shop Find

Nice score. Just thought you'd like to know, the bass you have is called a G-33. The GR-33B is the floor module only. There's a good page here with information, although it focuses more on the G-88, which is the older brother of your bass.

http://www.joness.com/gr300/GR-33B.htm

The page also discusses the relationship between the bass and the Fuji Gen Gakki company, who made some Ibanez models.

If you decide to look for the module, you need to do some research to find out what's suitable for your bass. The module that was released with your bass was the GR-33B. The later GR-77B was intended to be used with the G-77 bass, however, according the the link above, there is a way to make it work with the G-33 and G-88.
Thanks for the tip, sir. :)

That t'aint your taint! And I ain't gonna try and ID it. Yuck.

BTW:
End result of this is what if the cable and everything else is found? Is the whole kit and caboodle actually stage-worthy or more for studio time? Or easier to simply get the right stomp box? But as a retro collectible-pretty cool for $300. Wonder if it ranks with the obsolete Roland Space Echo.

I can't believe I just read this thread. :hmm:

I'd like to know what kind of pawn shop owner would actually GIVE money away that he already got. That's pure insanity. Congrats if you actually got a pawn shop owner to give you money back.

i doubt a pawn shop would give you that much back, all pawn shops are over priced and they are there to rip everyone off on everything in the store, deals just dont happen in pawn shops and especially that one which is a few miles from me ....if its a deal you are already paying too much...... unless its something that u do not mind paying the hiked up fees for + their inflated fees + its kinda rare, then why not. i one time left some pedals at my friends house and he ended up pawning it in the echo park pawn shop, i saw my items sitting in there :(

That is the post of someone who knows not what they are talking about. Not all pawn shops are like the ones at echo park. The majority of my instruments have come from pawn shops in some form or another. I've gotten unbelievable deals.

I don't believe a frickin' word about the hold tag or the money back. But then again, if it were $700 plus a bass, I'd probably hold the pos for a sucker.

what, he's lying? lolol
