A couple of points of clarification, your product design will not be going for copywrite [sic] - it would go for patent protection, and perhaps trademark if you are creating a brand around the product.

And it isn't "copywrite", but rather copyright - which would cover content (rather than an object or idea).

The product is geared more towards Bass players (like myself) but with a few tweeks i am hoping to roll it out for guitar players also. Man, here's one for the suggestion box. If you could stack the average combo or micro rig on top of it, the thing would be a home run. This solves two problems. 1) It saves even more space because whatever your idea is and your rig take up one footprint. 2) It helps with getting your rig off the ground so you can hear it better in tight quarters.

Completed, looking forward to hearing about the idea. I'm always looking for ways to bring more stuff with less bags and fuss. I couldn't answer in the survey this way, but as of last week when my krappy electric upright arrived, I bring that, my 5 string uke bass, my pedalboard which goes on a keyboard stand and holds my synth and 2 always on preamp pedals, as well as small mixer to send all of that out one DI, then a bag with accessories because ubass gig bag is too small (my incase slimbag has been on hiatus since I was only bringing a u-bass, but maybe I'll put stuff in it again since the eub will often be With me. I also bring a tc micro head in a bag (for an Ibanez promethean head) and either a 1-10 or 1-12 cab.

That's a lot of stuff! Sometimes I just bring u-bass , in ears, and a DI. Depends on gig, most of my gigs are weddings and the like, sometimes bar gigs or casinos.

So, I'm interested in anything that can consolidate!

last summer I got a Lancome makeup bag from Goodwill, and it fits my pedalboard, cables, strings, etc just perfectly!
It cost me $4 I think.

years and years ago, I took an old combo amp that was broken, took out all the inside, put in some stryrofoam insulator stuff, threw some hinges on the top, and made myself a combo amp ice chest.

I took it to gigs and put it next to my amp and handed out beers to the band between songs. Of course I was very discreet.

But some folks told me I should have patented the thing and sold millions.

Maybe I should have !

I even put a battery powered light so when I turned it on it looked like a real amp.

I even had a sound guy or two actually mic it up!
