I will be taking my redhead combo and setting it on top of a Son of Bertha and running my SWR Bass monitor as well. 2 - 8 Ohm extension cabinets bringing my Ohm load to 2 and bringing the output of the amp to 550w or something like that.

Goliath, Jr., which I place on top of a custom-made cabinet with a 15" JBL and a G-791 horn & driver combo. Ooh, those lows; ooh, those highs!

Owned an SWR bass 750 for a while - loved it, but sold it for something smaller and lighter.
Owned a Workingman's 10 for a couple of years - great little box!
Had a Goliath Jr for a couple of months - wasn't overly impressed - replaced it with a beat-up old SWR Bigfoot 2x12 - which someone will have to prise out of my cold, dead hands - I'm not letting that go! Gorgeous tone, great volume and portability.
Currently using a Genz BEnz Shuttle 6 as my head, but as soon as SWR come up with some lightweight heads, I'll be in there.

Picked up a used SWR 350 (silverface) for $180. This is buy far the best amp i've ever owned. I can get that sucker so hot it burns my fingers when I touch it. Never failed once in3 years of serious abuse. Not to mention to best tone ever! I'm in too!

I had a Basic Black for many years until it was stolen-- loved that amp.
Then I had a pre-fender SM-900 for several years which I ran bridged with 2 Eden cabs- both 15's. Totally awesome solid tone with my EBMM SR5. Yes, it got hot after a long set, but never had a problem. I was worried, though, so I contacted customer service and they said that they're designed to run hot. I recently sold this rig to get into a lighter set-up, but I must say that I missed it dearly at a couple of church gigs I just did.
I've had gas for an IOD from time to time, but they are hard to find.

I have one that I picked up from a local shop. I really like it, as it's a chromatic tuner which is good down into low B territory. It looks great in a rack with my 550x. I run it to the tuner out jack on the head.
From what I've heard, it's pretty much the same thing as the one Fender has (I don't remember the name), other than the faceplate and a few cosmetics. I don't know if that's true, but if you can find a pic of it, you could do the comparison yourself.
They seem to be kind of hard to find, so it may take a little bit of searching.

SWR 750x amp head
hooked up to a BW 1x18 cab (with 2 x 8's) and an Ampeg 4 x 12 (yes 12)
sounds great. Nice punch, with crazy deep lows. Don't even need a subwoofer to make everyone 'Feel' my lower notes.

I must be the most Gassing SWR man out there.
I have just recently purchased the SWR M2 Preamp, Goliath IV 4x10, and Son of Bertha 1x15 running them with a Poweramp.
Now I have as of Friday changed from those cabs to the new SWR Golight Cabs. Now running the SWR Golith 2x10 and Golight 1x15.
The Golight stuff not only is light using NEO's but has all Aluminum Hardware and some crazy wood (Okume) that is supposed to be light.
Loving them and the less weight.
Not to bragg at all. I think I come across that way some times. I am very fortunate to have gotten these cabs and am lucky to have the life I have.
These new SWR cabs are definetly worth checking out and are priced the same as their counterparts.

Never tried a SWR after the fender sale, but, not to hyjack the thread, how would you descride the fender stuff? like scooped or mid heavy ECT
There's very little difference between "pre-fender" and "post-fender" SWR gear. Pretty much the same designs, so pretty much the same sound IME.
Not to down what Mr Rabe came up with origanly but Fender has taken the SWR stuff to a higher level IMO.
Some of the new SWR stuff is as good as has ever been offered if not better.
Look at the SM1500 if I were a touring Bassist I would have that in my rig.
The new line of Cabs are absolutely amazing.
SWR brought Bass Gear to the forefront and they havent looked back. Fender has kept a number of names allive through the years. Cudos to Fender.
I have a Redhead sitting on a Triad. I recommend the same for you. The Redhead requires the extra booty of a 15. But it cuts through a band mix best with the other 10 and tweeter as well.
I have a prefender bass 350 on its way that I ordered Saturday. It's my first time owning an SWR...coming from an ampeg
