henry junior 4x8 (replaced celestions with Low Down sound long throw 8's)
henry 8x8 (i love this thing)
goliath II (incredible bottom)

i've been buyin em up on CL. still on the prowl....

so, yeah, i'd like a numba, too.

currently i have a sm500 it's great i'm just looking to get new speakers i have a 1X15 right now and am looking to upgrade any ideas of what i should go for i want to keep it simple too

Still have and love my BBII. It now has LDS 8"s in it. Yep I have the Celestions.
I have a LA-8 with an 8" Bag End in it and it is a tiny monster. You can crank it all the way up and the air that comes out of the input jacks will mess up your hair.
Though my main rig is now something else I was a loyal user since a little after the SM-400 was created. I had two SM-400s and four GII Jrs. One was a GI with Eden speaks. Later I moved on to two GIIIs and two Bass 750s. One was an unnecessary backup.
Never sterile to me or thin sounding. I dialed the tweeter to barely on and used powerful basses like Roscoe 5s with the tone controls on the heads set flat with a little enhancer and the treble dialed back a hair regardless of the room or outside.
I'm a fan!

I used an original issue Workingman's 15 for years (Black and white logo and less power). I loved it and it never let me down. Then the internet came around and I sold it.

I recently had a 4x8 Silverado. Nice amp, I just didn't have a use for it.

For the SWR stuff I had, the way to get out the "rep" for tone was to work with the eq a bit.

The Leslie is a 142 (short 122). The Hammond is a reconditioned BV with many modifications, essentially having full B3 functionality.

I did a search and have not found a SWR Owners Fan Club. So, I will start one, MAYBE???
I currently have an SWR Bass 750 - 1999.
I love it. I also have a 1996 SWR Bass Monitor. Great for an extension speaker for my drummer.
In the past I have had -
1986 SWR SS-180 Awesome little head. Used it for 4 years without fail

1990 SWR SM-400. Had this one for almost 7 years. What a great amp.

1995 SWR Goliath II with a Goliath III Plate
1996 SWR Big Ben

The very 1st piece of SWR eqptmnt that I was the 220 then the SM400 with the 1st series Goliath 4x10 enclosure then I got the Goliath 11 and that combination was the best sound I ever had

I might add that I have also had the SWR Grand Prix Preamp and I am currently looking to change my Korg DTR-1 Tuner to the Newer SWR Tuner.
I don't know if I can trust Fender/SWR tuners or not.
Has anyone got one? What do you think of them? What tuner did you have before?

I have the new Fender AD rack mount tuner and pretty damn accurate

I have a SWR Silverado Special 2x12 350 watts, 450 with extention cab. I plan to get a Triad extention cabinet and do away with my Carvin 4x10 cabinet I am using currently. I have played casino ballrooms, outdoor concerts (with PA assistance) and small clubs with the rig. It has the sweetest sounding preamp I've heard. In fact you can see the amp behind me in my avitar.

I also have a Workingmans 10 with extention cab that I use in my office/studio. That little amp friggin rocks!!

I was playing SWR for 8 years - and stopped when they were sold to Fender....

I had an old SM400 (that was my first SWR) , a Goliath II (those were my fav. designs) , a SM500 and then a 750X

I wish SWR would be back with their same quality and philosophy

I would switch back immediately

I love this gear and it's all I use for playing live.

i started out with a basic black in 1994 (sold), then i got a SM-400 with yellow screenprint (sold) with a henry the 8x8 (still have) in 1995. got a bass monitor in 1997 and then another bassic black (notice spellings) last year. love my SWR gear...

the henry cab has been perfect! been abusing it with an SVT-II for ten years. cannot imagine a better cab
