Can I get a number please??
Just picked up a Baby Blue II last week from a local TB'er! Nearly perfect condition! This is my first amp, and I'm very happy with it. The tone is amazing. It sounds great with my Epi Jack Casady Bass. I play mostly mellow stuff, folky americana, hippie rock, blues, and a little country. Right now I'm just learning the ins and outs of the amp itself but, does anybody suggest any effects pedals that pair up well with the BBII, for my type of music?

Just scored a super clean 1st gen. Bass 750, and have been playing it through a Megoliath. This thing is a BEAST. Clearly "louder" than my Sm-900. Its nice to crank it up not have to worry about any clipping as I did with the 900. In fact, I run a dbx 160A with the 900 to shave the peaks...not necessary with the 750. Wish it had a fan, though. Great amp. To he77 with all these micros!

My Bass 750 is first gen and it has a fan?? I bought mine brand new... Mine has a switch to turn the fan off/on

I will have to look at my serial number now. I thought my Bass 750 was the first year they came out, but now I am not sure. I do know that mine has a fan though. I also know I am the original owner. Bought her brand new... The best bass amp I have ever owned!!

Here is my rig... currently up for sale. But it is still in my possession. My main rig now, is an SWR SM1500 with an
SWR Megoliath 810 cab.

Don't have pics of the new rig yet.

I have a 4u wooden rack. Id like to find an external computer fan with a standard wall plug for added cooling, but it doesnt seem like a common product.

I've always liked SWR gear and I finally have acquired my first piece. My Baby Blue II is every bit as wonderful as I figured it would be. Really great overall design, killer tone. My old small combo was always impressive (Tubeworks RT3100 1x10), but the BB2 is in another league.

I've had my Baby Blue II for over 15 years, will never get rid of it. Perfect small gig, rehersal, and studio amp. I had an Electric Blue (amp section of BBII) I would occasionally run it with a SWR Monitor 12 or Workingman 1x10 cabinet, really was a no compare to the BBII. The cabinet for the BBII was co-designed by BagEnd and is perfect. BagEnd worked with SWR on the Goliath, Big Ben and other masterpieces. That's where the rear porting came from. If I was you, go with a BBII.

I currently own a Sliverado Special 2x12 and a Workingmans 10 with the extension speaker. I love them both, the silverado sounds amazing and is very powerful with a nice tube in the preamp that warms up the tone.
The workingman's 10 i used tonight at a run thru with the theater group at UC Davis and it was too much amp! Great products!

SWR Goliath Jr II

Silverado Combo (truly my favorite)
