I've just been using Tapatalk. The app is basically the same thing isn't it?

Other than the fact that Tapatalk actually works and the app is garbage, yes.

Which is a reason I don't want to actually PAY for the Tapatalk app. A little sniffing around the interwebs says the TB app is simply a Talkbass branded version of Tapatalk. i.e... the ugly colors and startup screen on the TB version. lol

It's all good as long as the new update makes it crash-free. That's all I'm looking for!

I'm hoping they've added PM'ing back in and made the quote/edit functionality easier like it used to be.

(I haven't updated yet...)

I used the update some today. Never crashed once. This is a good thing.

Typing seems a little slower (like it has to "think" and catch up), but yeah... No crashes so far.

Whatever the "bug fixes" were its made a bad app even worse. Typing lag. Crashed at least 10 times today already. Half of them jut when opening the app.

Haven't had crashes, but I've only opened the app twice today. Glad I'm not the only one getting typing lag though.

Just today mine crashes whenever I hit the forums icon. Frustrating. I Would like to have a profile page with feedback options, and search within forum tabs.

Well, no crashes yet = good.

But, scrolling is jumpy, like the screen keeps getting stuck. Typing has gone all weird....as someone above says. It's the only app where this happens!

Haha only renewed my subs yesterday!

I noticed this too. Only I wasn't sure if it was the app, or the fact that I have literally no storage space left on my phone...

Well, my app updated. I can see profiles again, but it crashed repeatedly the first time I tried to open it...

I purchased the tapatalk app 2.99 for iPhone four days ago. I use it a lot and no crashes , very smooth. I kept the original TB app on my phone (with the new update) and it still gets stuck then crashes .

They must be working on the issues. At least one of the problems was fixed for me: the thread now opens on the first or last page or post depending on what I've selected in settings.

Still crashy though and I really miss the touch the notification area for auto scroll to top and profile views...using iPhone 5.

Some issues were fixed on my iPad but not on the iPhone. And, both crash often sometimes repeatedly at the same sitting.

Which is the correct version, Tapatalk ($1.99) Forum App or Tapatalk 2 for iPhone ($3.99)? Both show up in my AppStore search.

I poked around the App store and the TB looks just like several other forum apps. I was under the impression that the new TB app IS from Tapatalk, just "Talkbass branded."

Still no crashes on my iPad 2, but the typing delay is quite annoying.
