Anadime bass chorus
I think it Has exactly what you are after plus a little more, I love that it has a low pass filter to leave the low end intact.
Best chorus I have ever owned.
Beat out the Chosmichorus and Polytope, although both of these are awesome in their own right.

I recently acquired a tech21 bass boost chorus. I like the flexibility of the detune knob and multi-voice button, and not having to use any modulation (speed / depth). I use it mostly for soloing with more "extreme" settings - I don't really do the whole 80s new-wave sound thing, but it can do that just fine too.
Used it at my gig thursday night and received good comments on my sound from a few gearheads in the audience.

i liked my TC choruses ... like the Tri Chorus effect .. and my TC Flashback did a nice chorusy kinda thing ...
but i just got a Zoom MS-70CDR ... which has TC chorus models in it ... it is stereo ... and thus far , sounds surprisingly good ... !! and the CDR is ... Chorus , Delay , Reverb ... plus many more things ... for me , i wanted to free up some DSP space in my Line 6 HD ProX ... and would also free some floor space on a pedal board ... yeh , i know it's not 'boutique ' ... but it sounds pretty darn good for $75 ( used ) ... !

Tech21 Bass Boost Chorus is for thick and edgy tone, sometimes Hooky and Infinite Flangey. But i use Danelectro Fab Chorus (re-housed and fixed to true-bypass) when i need juicy and trasparency. The difference between of them is like there are two juices - Peach-Carrot and Grape-Apple.
I had a Boost Chorus, prefer my Fab Chorus for a meatier sound, and ease of use. I just use the one setting though. With delay.
I rarely use chorus, but when I do I like my MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe.
I've also heard good things about the Markbass chorus and the Tech 21 Boost Chorus.

Hmmm, I *was* gonna suggest the SA Orbital but you don't dig Swiss army knife pedals, the other I was gonna suggest was an older Ibanez chorus like the BC10 but those have a similar size to the BOSS pedals(which you said you don't want)...so I guess I'm stumped!!
I will say, I had that same digitech multichorus and I much prefer the 2 I named above for just great 80's style tone
Others I've owned that were great IMO were the DOD deep freeze and ice box, the older red colored DOD bass chorus , owned the boss ce5 and the CE2B and was not impressed (too subtle for me)...
I've never tried one of the newer/smaller ones but that tech21 bass chorus looks kinda big even compared to boss sized enclosures, though it sounds great from all the demos I've heard...

it's not the size it's the style of the enclosure.....I mange to break those switches (or they malfunction) every time I own a Boss/Digitech type enclosures
Well in that case, the Ibanez chorus have a different footswitch than the boss or digitech(at least the older ones), the bc10 I owned had I nice crisp tone that handled highs/lows exceptionally well, and super lush sounding
Thays odd, I've yet to break a boss pedal and I have a few really old ones that the knobs are all worn out on. I weigh like 270 lbs and literally stomp on them

FACT: One of the best chorus effects I've ever used was the one built into my old Crate B160XL amp!
+1 to suggestions on here for the TC Corona. The DOD FX62 is also cool sounding. Based upon the OP's request, I also would throw out there the EQD Sea Machine. SO flexible and a crazy amount of tones in there, thanks in part to both analog and digital aspects to the sound. Nice small footprint too (with V2).
Right now i'm running a custom built vintage Clone Theory clone - sounds amazing. Has that "icy" edge to it that really helps the sound pop out of the mix.

I still own a mint FX 65...thing was never played as the guy bought it and tried to learn guitar and gave up.
I seriously would like to try this modded pedal though....anyone own one of these?
