TalkBass ATX Conference Interest Poll

Imagine a live TalkBass conference in Austin Texas, spanning 2 days... Nice downtown venue with vendor room, performance space, and casual GTG space.... A couple headliners and several performing artists and industry reps.

Would you be down for attending?

All kiiding aside..I would definitely be interested in this..I always attended the Bass Player Magazine events when they had them in NYC and the were always great.

We are thinking of having it in June. Hot? Yes. It will not be as horrible as July, or….

Because you know people are always at least as bold in person, if not more, than online.

I voted maybe.
It sounds like a very fun time to me and I would maybe be willing to plan a short trip around it. My husband would insist on coming with me because he is sweet, but I'm afraid he (a non-musician) would be bored out of his mind for most of it.

As stated earlier...I would totally go...If it wasn't during a Texas summer! July in Houston years ago was 90/90.
90 degrees, 90 percent humidity.

Perhaps (maybe vote) Austin is a fun locale, but lodging is a bit pricey! And timing is important to avoid conflicts with other conventions so room availability is a non issue.
