TalkBass Q&A Game

Never followed the Lions much, I'm a Raiders fan. They can't win a game to save their lives but by God they'll kick butt in the fight afterwards!
Does Brady still wear frilly panties?
Welcome to the thread, G! Last I heard, it was a leopard-print Mankini. But this is merely hearsay.

What's the best way deflate a football for metal?

Shaved and don't behave

Any interior decorators here? Had a question about carpet and drapes
I've decorated more than a few interiors, was told I did a real bang up job! The secret with carpet is to get an ultra soft low pile type, cushy and neutral in color. The drapes should complement the carpet in color and just touch the carpet, not too long or loose or scrunched up, just natural and free flowing. Also don't forget a proper sized rod can make or break the drapes. Too thin or spindley and the drapes won't look full, too short and the drapes will get all bunched up. I hope this helps.

That's enough about interiors, On to my favorite part of the house - the garage! I'm a spirited driver and enjoy a nice high performance but unique ride. New or used under $40,000 - What would be the ultimate weekend driver to put in my garage?

I've always wanted a Shelby Cobra kit car. I know its not a bowtie, but it would be fun.

I think they can be found in the $30-50K range used.

For the same reason the guy next to him is wearing a leather jacket embossed with the word "RAM"; they want to appeal to Robs better half.

Shave or behave?
Welcome to the game! My lovely lady has escaped off to Hawaii until the 9th, so I'm just misbehaving and not shaving!

Goatee or neck-strap?

I don't need to worry about volume. I always play through an interface and headphones.

Do you have to worry about volume in your home?
No, I enclosed the far corner of our basement last summer, stuffed the walls with carpet and insulation, then hung carpet on the walls up to the height of the cabinet.
Now I can get on the power tubes in the house :)

What? Did you say something?

My new neighbor likes to pound on the wall if I don't play through headphones. The old neighbors would invite me over for a beer when I was done playing.

Should I have a sign on the door of my place that advertises I play bass, so new neighbor's are aware before they move in?

It should read "bring beer for silence".

What do you drink?

I prefer IPAs, lately, my go to is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. When I'm out in town, I usually get a Bush Crack.

Could you find a better logo on a beer can?
