hehe ..yeah i recently bought a Russian big muff ..and although i dig the sounds im getting ..i was wondering what settings do you guys use?? i find it sounds good with volume@unity, tone@2 and [email protected] know weird ..

and what types of music do you play it with and such?

dude, the musical possibilities of a big muff is endless... it could suit any type of music. the cool thing about it is its a radical sounding effect, but in a mix, it sits really nicely!!! just listen to any doves recording. its in there, but it doesnt jump out at u. my setting are volume, wherever i need it to be at the same volume as my clean tone, tone at about 3 and sustain at about 2. lovely cream...

mmm distortion: 10, tone: 10, volume: wherever I find it sits best.

although occasionally i'll bring the tone knob down a bit, for woolier sounds.
