Tatoos on Women?

On my left forearm I have the organ sheet music for the gospel hymn, "No Not One." I didn't get this on my arm because it was cool or because I was following a trend. i got this because that was the first song I played on the organ when I was 3 years old. My grandmother would take my finger and play that song until I was able to figure it out by myself. By the age of 3, I was playing it b y myself along with cartoon theme songs I would hear on TV. So, that tattoo was because it's trendy or because it's cool. I got it to pay tribute to her and to have a conversation piece when I go to gigs or parties where I don't know anyone. It's an interesting tattoo and people love it when they see it. I also have a John Coltrane tattoo on my right forearm that means something else to me. I get a lot of compliments on that one but, again, it's something that means more to me than following a trend.

There are exceptions to every rule, but I'll bet John Coltrane would mean just as much to you even without the trendy tattoo :) :hiding:

King Biscuit, I'm assuming you don't have any tattoos.

I think it's time you just give up, lets put a nice piece of ink on ya!
Anything you want, I've even got an exceptional artist with a very well documented history who owes me for a lot of nights spent sleeping in my house.

So, it's on me.
Anything you want, no charge.

What'd ya say?

We can have him put that beagle right on your belly if you'd like. It'll look exactly like your avatar. How bout it?

Thanks for the offer 1Shot, and if I were going to get one that old dog would be as good a choice as any. But I will have to say no thank you. btw, I had that dog for 15 years and he was the best dog I've ever had -- really my best friend. I had to have him put down two years ago, but I can't bring my self to take his photo down from my profile. He was a 90 pound hound mix, but he looked just like a giant beagle.

Here's the Coltrane one before it was colored. It looks totally different now that it's colored in. It's too late to break the camera out to take a pic or I'd do it right now.

Sorry to hear man, never easy about parting with our companions, and yes he does look like a giant Beagle.

Ok, that's enough. This thread has drifted into trolling territory.

Get it back on topic, or it gets closed and infractions will be handed out as early Christmas presents.

I personally love tattoos on women-the more the merrier. If you don't, no sweat. No reason to hassle those of us who have different opinions. To each 'is own.

I think my favorite is the women who have professional lives-lawyers, doctors, business types, etc, so they're always in proper business attire. But they're hiding full sleeves under those modest jackets. The juxtaposition is great (imho).

I have tattoos. Don't really care what anyone not under my skin sharing my space thinks.

This works for many things...the librarian with the hair in a bun and glasses...takes off the glasses, shakes out her hair and bam...hottie. The girl you can "take home to mom" mixed with the "adventurous" girl at the clubs is everyones fantasy. That's what makes it exciting. Naughty and nice. Salt and pepper. Hot and cold. Etc.

I think i'm going to get a tattoo of a chic with tattoos!

Why not get a tattoo of a chick with tattoos, giving a tattoo to another chick with tattoos, that's looking at a book of tattoos while she's getting a tattoo, of her being tattooed by a chick with tattoos.

I've decided, I'm going to go get me a tattoo soon, it's time to figure out what it's gonna be and just how much it's gonna cover.
Time to cash in on some favors!

Ill Only live once!
