TB Noise Compilation V.3

hurm. i'm cool with that, but does that mean one take per track? or is it ok to have a few tracks that are each one take?

layering is fun. and i do like seperating the instruments when recording.

but whatever you guys choose. i've never done one of these so it's y'all's call.

I think that's sort of answered by "no multi-track recording." :p

The only problem I can see here, for me, at least, is going to be coaxing out new sounds and ideas on the fly. I already did the "glacial wall of trem'd and octaved feedback" thing on Vol 1.

An idea:
What if Pickles mixed all of our tracks into one extended piece?
That would be a really cool twist on the compilation idea.

pffffft. well if you want to read the WHOLE post.... pshaw.

if looper's are ok then i'm all good.

I WILL NOT READ THE ENTIRE POST!! I WILL ASK REDUNDANT QUESTIONS!!! IT'S WHAT I DOOOOOOOOO!!!

.... that and tranny-hunt. well, not HUNT, but not turn down a hot one if it fell in my lap. so to speak. and my wiff was ok with it.

i ramble. FOOD TIME.

yeah im slightly out of ideas,... ive done the dual octave and distortion that sounds like the mouth of hell, ive done intro of crazy flanging like a police siren, ive done the octave up and delay to get tardis noises,...

I think its now time for TWO BOARDS,... might just one through the devi ever eye of god and use wah to control pitch,... I dunno, I WILL find a way to destroy the sonic spectrum damnammit!!! :D

bump for teh awesomes...

I have what is the most amazing, earth shattering, destroyer of worlds, tearing down the garage/practice space track ever. just need to put the two halves together and it should be ready. more news to come hee and the bk/ss thread. my partner in crime is seeming to want to keep things a little under wraps, but let's just say that hell is breaking loose on TB effects...

So I finally got to recording mine and I found my interface wouldn't output to my headphones. Input meter still showed up pretty well so I thought I was good. I made what I thought was going to sound pretty decent but when I played it back, all digital high pitched squealiness (not the good kind).

I may not be able to submit due to a failed interface. :bawl:

Well, this is a live-improv noise comp we're talking about here. Odd may be exactly what it needs!

werd. I already submitted mine. And while I hate it, it works in this context because it was just what the rules asked for; One track done on the fly.

I went back and messed around with it and added it as background noise to a song that's going to be on my little solo project EP, but that wasn't part of the rules and totally besides the point..
