fwiw, i can't reach him either. i'm trying to specify shipping info (bought on ebay last week). emails have gone without response. hopefully the bass just shows up one day soon.

FYI - I spoke with Jake on Sunday and he told me to use the Ebay store because he couldn't keep track of all of the orders etc. himself. He's supposed to be adding some more basses to the Ebay store. 
Well that's annoying, I try to save the guy a few bucks per his request to contact him directly by email for the order on the 28th and he never responds, should have just bought the one I wanted off of Ebay...sigh
I share the sentiment, but in all fairness he really must be swamped and taking individual orders must have become a much bigger hassle than saving the what I imagine would be $30 to $50 in fees per bass was worth.
As he states on the eBay store page now, check daily and keep your fingers crossed. This past weekend he had four JJ basses and there are other models he's building:

I have owned a JJ 4 string and an APM 400
Both very light, good playing basses.
Fit and finish were very good. Satin natural finishes with smoked chrome hardware.
Both were active. The only issue I had was a hum (APM 400) in certain venues. At 200.00 for a 4 string you should get one!!
So how can you grab one at this point? I looked at 5:00 p.m. Central as instructed, but didn't see anything that looked like a bass you could buy.
Can anybody help a fellow bass player out? (Unless, of course, you're looking to get one, too.)

FYI...I had emailed Jack earlier today and he responded saying he is still playing catch up so he won't have any posted today by 5:00 as expected. Just wanted to pass this along in case you were planning to wait for 5:00 on the dot to try and buy. Looks like today is a no go so maybe tomorrow!
I set a search so that I would get an email when he puts up some stuff. I don't "need" one but I want to get in on a 4 string before they are gone.

I tried but since he didn't answer the follow up email yesterday, to the email he asked me to send him 2 weeks ago, now I find myself checking his Ebay store after 5pm CST hoping that he doesn't run out of the 400SS before I buy one.
Anyone have pictures of a more-recent (last year or so) model US-made one?
I had a Chinese made one a while back and the quality was very nice. Would be curious about the ones he's hand making right now...
