Whatever happened with this idea?
I wondered too?

Moses stopped making guitar and bass necks so I had to go back to square one. I had some discussion back and forth with Status Graphite but they couldn't make what I needed.
After trying out several other companies for mass produced necks, I decided to have an experienced luthier make custom necks to my exact specifications and supply them to me as I need them. The idea of using graphite necks is done and over with so now going with traditional maple.
My new prototypes have been in use for a few months now and I like how they've turned out. I'm currently finishing and assembling the first 1/2 dozen actual production basses for public sale. I anticipate being open for business by January and have a web site set up and ready for launch. Hoping to be able to finish 3 - 4 basses per month after the new year.
Expect an announcement with all the details here on TB in the next few weeks (as soon as I pay for the commercial membership).

This is where I landed....[Invalid or Expired Link Removed] a women’s clothing site.
I think you misunderstood me, I'm referring to the "pickguard" above the neck pickup. But regardless, good advice.a lot will depend on the age and color of your neck. If it is an older one that has had the maple turn into a golden amber, you may just have to bring it to a store that sells stain or color agents to get something that might match. If you can feel the scratch, then you should need to use some filler (I always use Super Glue Gel) and it fills up the dings nicely
I bought it from Classic Jazz here on TB:
SOLD - TBC (The Bass Company) JT-400JJ w/Audere Preamp
