Played my new RH450 over the weekend at a gig. Great sound, although I did find that it is very important to set the Gain to not overload the preamp. I was clipping and it can be an unpleasant distortion. I have backed off a couple clicks and all is good. Unfortunately setting this parameter in your living room is not a good thing. I naturally play harder when performing live.
Oh yeah, the DI is killer!!
Wow, GREAT sound, John. Loved those 3 tracks, been listening to them over and over as I check out your band's site. What bass did you use? The Nordy?Played my new RH450 over the weekend at a gig. Three demos that were recorded using the RH450 DI can be found at Link Removed.

I looked at the manual and didn't see ohms-specific power output ratings, just the terse 450(800 peak). But I'm interested in seeing a version that could drive fEarfuls to their full potential (like around a megwatt @ 8 ohms for 15/6). But I like the feature set and approach, just didn't know if I could recommend the current one yet for that.
What is the warranty on the TC Electronics bass amps.
I scoured the Classic's online manual and could not find it.
Thank you, I did just find that. for anyone who wants to read it: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]The general warranty listed on the website is 2 years for products purchased in the EU, and one year for products purchased outside of the EU. Not sure if that holds for the RH450 or not.
Does anyone know how this amp would sound with a Bergantino HS210???
As a side note, one of the main reasons why I have not bought an RH450 yet is I'm still trying to spit the sour taste out of my mouth from a warranty issue I had with TC Electronic over a Konnect 24D recording audio interface. Based on that experience, I'd get TC to be very clear on the warranty, if it seems at all a little vague. The general warranty listed on the website is 2 years for products purchased in the EU, and one year for products purchased outside of the EU. And I might be calling one for a new rs210 here soon!Hey Tom7,
Sorry about the troubles you've had. Many times a good dealer can either go to bat for you, or can finagle the documents to remove any warranty obstacles... I just happen to know a good TC dealer...![]()
