Hey Guys! I just received my TC RH750 today, I must say the build quality looks and feel really solid. My question for those with the amp I notice my preset buttons seems a little loose, is this normal?

Hey Guys! I just received my TC RH750 today, I must say the build quality looks and feel really solid. My question for those with the amp I notice my preset buttons seems a little loose, is this normal?
Yeah. They are just plastic chiclets that sit over a solid button. The chiclets themselves wiggle. No biggie.
I just picked up one of the last two at Bass San Diego. I haven't had time to ring it out yet, but I played one in the store the other day, and was blown away, especially through an AE212. Another customer came in and played it through an AE410, and it was equally impressive.
Anyway, I think I'm now done with the whole amp thing.

got the RH450 and cant get a sound I am happy with through my AE212 (AE112 sounds good though).
So the RH750, with the tweetertone, makes that much of a difference with the AE212?![]()
2 or 3 clicks from full counter-clockwise.@Munjibunga: How many clicks do you reckon 100hz is left from center?
4 clicks to the left is the default for the bass on the RH750, which is 200 hz. 4 clicks to the right of center on treble is also the default. When I got the unit, after pressing the shift button, the center frequency for each was center, except for bass, whick was either 3-4 clicks back.
True, which is because the additional harmonic content becomes more apparent in the mids, making the bass seem a bit more tame by default. Rather than boosting bass, my preferred strategy is to scoop the mids just a touch around 600-800 hz as I add more overdrive.I do notice that if I put on more Tubetone, then it's possible a small boost in bass may be necessary.
I had really good luck with the GK Neo112-II cabs. Those tend to have really great organic low end, which partners well with the tighter low end of the RH heads. Also, those cabs are pretty bright on the high end which helps bring out the smoother high end of the RH heads.Hey Guys, besides TC and Bergantino cabs what other brands of cabs will the RH750 match up well with?
Getting a little wound up now. Paid in full for my first RH750, made popping noises. 2nd got here from TC, again problems - very strange vibrating / catching fan.
Emailed TC and UK importers 3 times for a date on third unit and confirmation it's a new unit, still no response. Store is chasing it.
Both units had small marks on the casing yet were sealed.
Its had two strikes. If it gets a third strike, I'm giving up and getting a refund. My RH450 was perfect, and I've not had an amp I paid for in full for 6-8 weeks now.
Love TCs gear, love the RH amps, but this third one needs to turn up ASAP and be right this time![]()
