Me too. Want to know more. Anyone have a link?
This has been widely discussed. First, unfortunately Bass Gear's testing procedures were faulty in their first issue, so those tests should pretty much be ignored.
Secondly, the Genz amps, similar to the TC amps, use some pretty cool and very complex limiting and 'tube emulation', combined with some proprietary heat dissapation method, to push the various power modules they use into higher wattage performance, which of course, increases the total harmonic distortion. However, this increase in distortion is achieved in a very musical way, which is why my Streamliner, for example, is much louder than my '500 watt amps'.
I believe the difference in the Genz design is that the amps do actually reach their actual published wattage ratings, but again, at high distortion rates (which actually sound very good, and emulate an all tube amp a bit when they are pushed).
Old news, and just like the RH450 and RH750, they perform at levels that most consumers would expect, given their published specs.
However, round and round we go, and if you are using a criterion of 'the OEM manufacturers power ratings of the ICE modules is the full 'truth', then you would have to throw Genz in with TC.
