TC RH450 Club

They do make the ATA Case that holds an RH head and Footswitch and room for some cables. I use a Shure microphone bag that has room for lots of stuff and binders and cables. My ex-wife is making me a slip in padded bag that will have Velcro flaps that slip over the handle side of the head. I'll post up some pictures whenever she gets a round tuit.

I had one before. Too big for the head in my opinion but ymmv. I like a for fitting case for a head
So I finally received both my RS 210 and my RS 212 cabs. I'm quite sure run these cabs together will be plenty loud enough for me at practice. Got a little tweaking to do on the EQ still. I'm trying to find a nice modern tone and then add the tube tone and. Spectra comp as needed. On a sidenote, Pro AudioStar offer me some great deals.
I've got a 210 212 and 112. sorry to say i use my hartke vx 215 instead. I can't get the range need out of the tc cabs. They fart out using certain effects.
I use octave and dirt a lot. The tc cabs just can't hang at live volumes.
I've recently come back to TCE but when the RH stuff first came out I was gigging the 450 with a 210 and a 212 between two Marshall half stacks and a drummer whose idol was John Bonham and it performed very well. I never felt like I didn't have enough. Mainly I'm just asking how those two particular cabs (210 and 112) play together.
Seems like the farting would have been from the 112 taking the same load as a 210 or 212. I run the 210 and 212 together most of the time or just the 212 by itself. If it were me today, I'd get a 212 and not even think of a a 112 personally.
The farting I think he was referring to was all tc cabs with his huge pedal board. I guess I'll find out because I picked up a 112 used here in the classifieds. The 212 is just too big to fit in trunk with 210. I'm going to go for it with the 210 and the 112 and see how it goes. I usually don't mix cabs at all but if Uffe says it works then I guess it's worth a shot.

I've got a dumb question. Does anyone use their RH450 as a preamp going straight to DI/FOH WITHOUT A CAB? I've heard that could damage the head or a regular head without any load on it. I thought about using the headphone jack out but I'm not sure if that'd work either because that's TRS.
The farting Im referring to is the cabs not being able to do the octave and sort at the same time.
It's fine to do that (I have). I think it might even say on the back of the head that it's okay. What you've heard was in reference to all tube heads.
Just ordered a RH450 today. The 399 deal from ProAudiostar. Already shipped. I'll be probably picking up either 2x210s or a 210 and a 212.
I really want to build one of those diy 110 boxes Duke specced out for practicing.
I know the new amps just came out but I want the presets and I'm pretty confident this will be plenty of volume onstage. Can't wait.

I did the exact same thing about a month ago. Nice rig. I bought one when they first came on the market.
Just did a blues, light rock show at a small venue last night with the RH450 and only 1 RS212. The tone was great, more than enough volume and super easy. Now onto a full bore ROCK show tonight with 2 RS212's! I can't understand how anyone says the RH450 doesn't have enough volume. I have yet to turn it up past 4+. A friend has the RH750, 2 RS212's and he can't get past 3. I've used this rig on about 20 shows now and smile every time I turn it on.
I agree these 450s are pump out plenty of volume regardless of actual wattage ratings. I have a RS212 and a RS210. Plenty loud enough even for larger stages.
It's the "perceived wattage" that everyone was freaking out about. To me, it's a silly issue. I've still yet to push it past 10:00 or 10:30 maybe.
