Was playing with my Nikon and a blacklight... I just found that a I can make the fiber-optics on the backlit models light up just like the AH1200SM....

How do you find the compressor & Tube pre on the new models?

Hey guys, you can do us mods a favour by just reporting any obvious spam with the little red triangle (as was done in this case - ta!) and then ignoring it. Discussing it makes cleaning up a pita afterwards.

I'm buying a TE GP7SM 250 sunday 8) Using a peavey 1x15 with it to start but I'll probably sell that and get a nice 410 or 215 down the line.

I like having the tube preamp.
I really like the built in compressor having 2 controls. Looking at it, it's more complex than a stompbox and the system does a better job IMO.

What you see IS an AH600-12 on top of my AH1200SM.
I prefer the AH1200SM over the AH600-12, though.
The 1200 has two AH600 amps inside one on each channel and it has 2 presets instead of one.
So, effectively I have 2 AH600 amps in one case for a total of 1200 watts RMS & 2400 watts PEP.
The AH1200SM is a 2 ohm MLR, BTW.
The AH600-12 is a 4 ohm MLR.
So imagine the wall of 8 ohm cabs I can connect!

I didnt find out until I went to practice that my drummer moved suddenly and moved our equipment too. Although we upgraded from a basement to a studio loft! The mixing boards werent hooked up just yet so no sound clips today but we got some video footage and worked on new riffs. The new GP7sm250 is fantastic! -Luke

Absolutely splendid! I need to totally re-adjust my eq for this head. It cuts through like a razor blade. Very punchy and sounds like Geddy. Im thrilled. Now I want a tube Trace...
