So I sent my AH300 back to the shop last week because it just wasn't sounding quite right...remember I said I didn't think it was as loud as I had expected?

I got it back a few days later. It seems there was a bad solder joint in the preamp section and that was it.

Now...this thing is glorious! I'm playing it through my BFM Omni 15 which is only 8 ohm but it's horn loaded and super efficient so WOW, stand back.

Hmm sounds like the issue I am having with my AH100. I am on the waiting list for my tech, but might be good to look into this.

I ordered two of [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] today from Parts Express for $100 bucks with free shipping. The brand is listed as "factory buyouts" and the product details for the item: 'This 15" OEM bass driver from Celestion was designed in Great Britain for use in compact, high-end bass speakers.'

The first reviewer states: 'The speakers are Trace Elliot branded Celestions...'

So maybe these are older versions of the 500W ones (part no. 75-TE-BS-15500-8) that BAS carries? I couldn't pass it up so I bought two for the free shipping for when I get my second 1153...BAS charges $150 plus $80 in shipping!

Hi guys,
I've searched through whatever I could find on TB but can't come up with any info on this model. It's a 2x10 combo with the GP12smx pre and I think about 300 watts. I found this ad online but they don't say much: Invalid Link Removed

It's been serviced about 8yrs ago, but don't know if it is loud enough for gigging or if it's even worth-it compared to newer technology (i.e., for a bit more I could get a new Carvin combo...etc.).
Any Trace gurus have an opinion? I'd greatly appreciate it :)

Hello, can I get a number? Here's my old reliable GP7 SM 115 Combo. On a related note, does anyone have any leads on a Trace Elliot 1153. I need an extension cab in a bad way!

Hey kids.

Check this link:

Was there such a thing as a Trace 412 or is this just a misnomer-ed 410? Looks a lot like my 1048H minus the horn tbh. Non info from the seller at all. If it's actually a 410 the price is completely off.

Welcome JessiahIII you are member # 224

GC usually has two or three 1153 and will ship to your local GC cheaply, if not totally reliably, hence picking up from your local works in your favour.
