yes, it's a subwoofer driver....More curious than that is the fact that the speaker is not Celestion, it's Beyma. Look at the pictures and you'll also notice that the back of the cone on the driver is stamped 2004...definitely a replacement driver, no?
Is it me or these basses look like Peavey's Cirrus?
Traditionally one posts one's own Trace porn, but for that green explosion we'll make an exception.
Don't mind me, just thinking out loud. What else could they be? I mean, only someone who, for a fraction of a second, thought that Trace would make their own basses, could have had a thought like that. Move along, fellas. My bad.
I have an entirely unrelated question.
I'm looking at 'acoustic amplification' for my young aspiring harpist daughter, and I wonder if any of you heppest of all cats can tell me about the merits of Trace Elliot's acoustic line?
She'll be doing some gigs this summer, some outside at a local farmers' market, and some at indoor events. I'm not after effects, but DI/Line-Out, a pretty un-colored tone and volume are all kind of important.
Any thoughts? I've found one on my local CL, and it just looks so darned tidy and out-of-the-way, I thought I'd ask...
Thanks for your time.

I don't know if this will help or not, but do a search for Monte Mongomery on youtube, he's been a te acoustic user for years. May at least give you an idea of the tone of the amps.
The cleaner waylaid me the other day to tell me about his Trace guitar amp when he saw the green on mine.Any thoughts? I've found one on my local CL, and it just looks so darned tidy and out-of-the-way, I thought I'd ask...

Hey guys, anyone know anything about the 12 series amps and the internals? I have a 2001 RAH300-12 that has a random ground wire that's not connected to the board. Here's a pic. BAS hasn't been to helpful.
