hmmm looks nice, unless this comes in a rack form, i'll be picking up one of yous guys old-used vts when you upgrade...i'm not thrilled with my rbi, i don't hate it but i'm thinking this could be my solution.

exactly right!BTW, I asked the Tech21 guy about the lack of a blend control. His reply was basically "well what we're going for here is to duplicate the sound of an SVT, SVTs don't have blend controls."

I'm a bit confused I own the VT Bass pedal, but mine doesn't have any switch to defeat the speaker sim. Am I missing something?It's strange Tech 21 decided to add switchable speaker cab emulation to the regular VT Bass but not the deluxe version.

The new Character Series pedals are going to have this spkr-sim switch.
The Oxford, the Leeds and the US Steel.
I don't know if in a while new versions of the already existing Character series will have this switch.
