hmmm looks nice, unless this comes in a rack form, i'll be picking up one of yous guys old-used vts when you upgrade...i'm not thrilled with my rbi, i don't hate it but i'm thinking this could be my solution.

BTW, I asked the Tech21 guy about the lack of a blend control. His reply was basically "well what we're going for here is to duplicate the sound of an SVT, SVTs don't have blend controls."

Why would you want to blend amazing SVT tone with mediocre non-SVT tone?
I'm a bit confused I own the VT Bass pedal, but mine doesn't have any switch to defeat the speaker sim. Am I missing something?
Perhaps a mix up from the other thread...
The new Character Series pedals are going to have this spkr-sim switch.
The Oxford, the Leeds and the US Steel.
I don't know if in a while new versions of the already existing Character series will have this switch.
