After reading the "stuff you hate to hear non-bassists say" threads on here, I thought this might be of interest. It was on the main page of eBay Australia and take note of the instruments. Trumpet with trumpet, piano with piano, amp with amp...... bass with electric guitar. How nice of them.

its because it looks similar most people who arn't bassist don't see it as a seperate instrument they see it as a simpler version of the guitar n(but god dam them, they are wrong MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, may i attack them when i claim my six string)
