Thanks eBay.

Well, eBay is about as dumb as dirt anyway so why doesn't this surprise me?

I think I have pretty much given up on trying to correct people on what I play. 'Oh you're the one playing the guitar we hear! How come it sounds so different?'.... 'Its a bass...' and I get this blank look most of the time *facpalms* (though I have a few neighbors that know what I play and don't insult me like that LOL)

It might be reassuring to hear that I was on some internet thingy where you design your little avatar guy after you get enough points to buy him some clothes and stuff. Or her. Depends on what your hairstyles, eyes, etc. do. But anyways, I play guitar and bass and there wasn't bass, just guitar so I was like whatever. I put it on. Only 4 tuning pegs on it. It's a bass. :)

Well - maybe it is actually a new (and until now top secret) Fender 6-string bass guitar. Maybe it is really time for innovation in this seemingly very conservative company. Maybe the Aussies are better informed than we are.

Fender HAS made a six string bass that looked like an electric guitar (same strings as a guitar just tune down an octave) it was called the Electric VI and was never a very big hit...

I just finished reading a book that was entirely dedicated to fender, every model that was ever made. I was bored lol...

It's eBay, don't expect it to know the difference...
