...Are the strings ball end on both ends? If so, how do you string it?
They are regular strings secured to a brass anchor with an Allen screw and then clipped to the exact length.
I respect your lawyer's drive to patent it, but part of me still hopes you'll go "open source" on it, because your basses are some of the finest there are on all of TB.
Bottom line is, patents can be had but they are a pain to enforce. And I've seen enough knock off Dunlops, Steinbergers or Younameits from come-n-get-me places to believe I could manage it. And to be fair, I did not invent the hybrid system; I am only interpreting it.
