199 bucks for a "superior" power cable.

What a complete joke. :rollno:

Edit: I found this LOL!

"I'm pretty impressed with your (MusicCord-PRO) cable. I was able to notice a discernible difference in the sound quality right away on both my acoustic and electric basses, and even on gigs with a lot of background noise. Better low end and pitch clarity, which is great for the upright especially. This product has been met with a lot of skepticism on forums like talkbass.com, but I think if people tried it they would appreciate the difference."

It's interesting to watch the demo videos
The guy playing really believes there's a difference.
At the same time he admits to emphasizing the low notes with the cable plugged in.
He's playing different with each cable.
It's not even ideomotor effect, he's not doing it unconsciously, he's doing it on purpose but still believes it's the cable.

On some TB thread about these cables, I did a thorough physics debunking of these. (As in, if the physics that audio and electrical engineers rely on to make these amps work in the first place is valid, then the cable will make no difference. Either the amp works or the cable makes an audible difference... choose 1.)

And it does make me sad that Vic is helping them sell snake oil.
