Wait a minute..."over time?"
Heck, I'm way over that in "over time."

I thought you meant "now."

Ahhh, I see: "Lifetime."

Pencilwhip me I membership number, I'll get you a list together.
Min'es gonna look very similar to yours in terms G&L, Lakland, Fender being the predominating brands.

Best club so far:hyper:

my count is easy

Been playing for 25 years and in that time owned 7 basses

1-Aria Pro II
2-Wal
1-Ken Smith
2-Sei'
1-OLP [technically my daughters but I use it now as a beater bass]

so in about 150 years I will re post my list to this thread and join. Should just about have done it by then!

Regards

Matthew

I've owned about 40 basses over the years. Most of them in the bygone days of having lots of disposable income and answering to no one. At this point, I figure I can make it to 50 basses, or my 50th birthday.. but not both.

I won't come anywhere close, but this is kind of fun:

Lotus P-Bass copy
Peavey B-Quad 4
Peavey B-Quad 5
Steinberger XM2 fretted
Steinberger XM2 fretless
Alvarez mini acoustic bass
Ashbory
Dingwall Super J

That's 8. I've been playing for 16 years, so that's an average of one bass every 2 years. Of course, some of these basses didn't last very long (I think the B-Quad 5 lasted a month), but of the 8 I still own 5.

hmmm ... I've owned about 25 to 30 or more Rickenbackers ... 5 or so Jazz basses ... 7 or so p-basses ... a schecter, an Ibanez, a couple of Musicman clones, a couple of Dean basses, 3 fenderbirds, a gibson ebo, a hofner, a hofner copy ... I'm not really sure of the exact count but I think it would put me over the 50 number:bassist:
