I added a handle to help cart it around with. The 106 has one silly strap handle on the side, so you can carry it like a suitcase... in case you're built like Andre the Giant.With the strap handle on the side and this one on top, you can pretty easily carry it at an angle and tilt it into a vehicle, or heft it up/down stairs.

No, there's about 1/8" plus of plywood left! But I think it's enough to maintain the internal enclosed air space.
Nice job. Normally these kind of handles should provide a proper seal even if they go through the plywood. This way you save internal volume

I don't know... well yeah, if some gigs come around. I do have a second 4 ohm cab, so moving enough air isn't a problem. And the band has a pretty good little pa.
Here's the "146", finally reunited, fully functioning:
I set up the 140 tonight daisy-chaining the inputs from ch1 to ch2. I set ch1 for deep and bassy, and ch2 for trebly and clear. Nice sound! I wish all amps had a layout and ability to do this! I like it better than the 370, at least through the 106.
Anyway, there are 3 jacks on back of the 140:
Speaker, Outputs, and Booster Output. Does Booster Output send a line level to a slave amp? I ask because I'm thinking maybe I could use the 370 as a slave?...
That's correct it's for a slave. I used to use a 370 slaved into a 300 'booster' amp in the 70's.

Funny, I bought a Trace Elliot Elf a few months ago and liked the sound. I still dio, and it's convenient. Butt now I'm looking at getting back into a big amp. The 140 bridged this way is pretty killer. I probably need a more efficient cab, or a Moore robust one, yup make this really work. Using a slave might overpower the 106.
...maybe it'd be okay with the 370 as slave...
Back in day....grumh... most everyone "bridged" channels, inputs and amps. It made the amps louder....

Interesting, how do you do this properly? (from/to which jack on resp. channel).
Bass into input 1, ch1.
Ch1 input 2 to ch2 input 1.
That's it. Sounds weird, but it's just wired that way. I guess.
A dude chimed in to my for sale ad and added that he sets ch1 for a very bassy sound, and ch2 for a bright, clear sound. Boy does that ever work! I love that sound... keeping my 140 now.

I just had my coily Bullet cables repaired, lol (not kidding). Needed new plug ends...
To make it easy, then "bridge" a cable from the 140 to the input of the 370 for more eq settings on that amp.
