No, the 250 has no blacklight, you had to splash on the 350 or 600 for the blacklight! It does have some mini green flourescent lighting from inside the front panel though.
Played the party last night, a mess of pop-fodder and dancey tripe, and the 370 was a beaut. Went at 2 ohms throught the 4 ohm 106 (original, reconed emis) and my EAW diy modded 4 ohm 210. The 360 opens up nicely at 2 ohms. Wasn't too loud as I kept the volume way low, but the tone opened up anyway.

Ok so I need a spare cab for rehearsals... one that can remain in the space. I got a line on a 4 ohm Peavey 210TX... 175w @ 4 ohms. Would that play nice with the 106, anybody figure? Don't know for sure, but I think it's in the ballpark for power handling with the 106.
The diy 210 officially handles 400w, though I'm not inclined to see that as a problem...

Peavey gear, at least the vintage stuff, is indestructable. Cockroaches will play p-basses on old peavey rigs after the big bomb.

Howdy, new member but periodic lurker here. It was my recent Acoustic experience that led me to post.
I was out of the game for 15 years or so, family stuff etc etc. A few years ago my old guitarist drew me into a sort of Johnny Cash tribute thing, tough act for an old metal>acid>rock>R&B>blues guy, but good material for a guy who can't really sing (the leader). My old hotrodded Sunn Concert (why yes, I do play a Rick, thanks) was fine for bigger stuff, Bassman 10 for practice/small room (my 1st amp, bought new!) but has always lacked depth (ya think?).
That project pulled me to a gigging (maybe "pop"?) band in a path too long to bother you with, and as close to general business as I ever want to get. That meant mid-size rooms and a need for something else. Found a used B200 combo and liked what I could do with the 15" and the horn, and the owner had added casters. This was a US design in good shape, the 200W RMS didn't hurt, either. Sold!
Still a bit tough to lug through narrow stairways, hey I'm getting old. So for my guitarist's practice space I tried a new B100 MkII at the local mom/pop store, where I had a good-sized credit, and it had enough of the sound I was after to just park at his place. Sold!
A fine year-and-a-half later, at a practice, the B100 MkII just stops. I hear the power amp hiss, but no signal shall pass. Hey, first thing I've bought new in decades, and sure enough it has a 3 year warranty - if you buy from an authorized retailer. My mom/pop store was not. Still in discussion with Acoustic, but I made the mistake of checking a youtube video...
...on fixing a B100 and my heart sank. I work in electronics, and what I saw in that vid just made me shake my head. They may have hit a reasonable Acoustic sound but this showed what we call an ODM product, designed strictly for a price point. Honestly, that's probably what's needed to hit a low price these days, so I "get it".
And oh, yeah - 100 watts my eye. Maybe the draw from the outlet LOL...
Anyway I was going to dig in myself but Acoustic will only give the schematic to my "service center". With warranty up in the air I'm not hauling this to a bench charge plus hourly shop. My usual help on deeper debug/refit is a friend, also in electronics, an audio engineer with reasonable lab downstairs. So I went to pull the head and drop it off (he has funky basement stairs too).
That's where the tech comes in - sorry for the long buildup

Good news - the MkII has worthy updates from the B100 in the video. The board is now better supported (who would think you'd need to worry about vibration - in a bass amp!) and they put an actual connector on the speaker out. Progress!
The bad news is it's not likely the kind of failure seen in the video. May have to work some for this fix.
Anyway I'll update what I find, both with the failure and with Acoustic's support. They've been cordial and professional (when you can get someone), and I do understand about "no user serviceable parts inside" from their (or their lawyer's) perspective.

Ugly price indeed. At the same time, my 320 has kicked ass and been so reliable for so long now it's easily been worth that price (even though I got it for almost half that). I'm at the point where I'll be shocked if it doesn't outlive me.
Same here, bought mine here from @cornfarmer and it was about what you paid in very-good condition and fully functional.
