Well I am an Acoustic fanatic, I find that sometimes I have to just walk away from the young kids who come into the local shop - looking at all the Hartke, or whatever - because I will walk up and say no no try this and plug them to a B100 or something.
I'm equally as guilty as being a fanatic. I do think some of the younger ones anyhow are "getting it". My son has a band and indirectly I've already infuenced the conversion of one young soul (B200) with perhaps another on the way (B200H or beyond). Although I don't think they've joined here yet they are still destined for the land of Loud and Blue!

As a long time owner and fan of Acoustic bass amps. dating back to the 60's...Damn, time flies...I have to say that for 200watts, the B200H series Acoustic Amplification head rocks on in the ACC tradition!
I've played, and moved Acoustic 360/370's and different ACC series bass amps. all around the lower 48 for many years.
All were kick ass, rugged, and dependable, but most were heavy.
After scaling down, I've owned an Acoustic Control Corp 215B-120 cabinet and BP-10 passive head for 26 years. Niether have ever failed or been in the shop. Quality!!!
I recently puchased a new B200H head based on my experience with the quality and dependablilty of Acoustic.
I gig with the Acoustic B200H using a 4X10 cabinet rated at 800 watts, @ 4 ohms, (not an acoustic cab) and/or the original Gen 4-1982, 215B-120-2X15-Eminence cabinet with an internal 120 watt amp. @ 4 ohms.
I've modified the 215B-120 cab. to run line levels to the internal amp. or use the 2X15's as a 215B speaker cabinet at 4 ohms.
With the control and tone of the EQ section plus the agile frequency notch filter, this amp, at 200 watts is dynamite in a small package, with a punch!
Can't wait to see what Acoustic launches next.

Just FYI,
Usually my experience has been that as time goes by things tend to get smaller and cheaper made. But this is just FYI to anyone who may have old Acoustic casters laying around or perhaps snapped into some older legacy Acoustic Control Corp. equipment. Last night my son and I were doing some Music Room major re-arranging. I was looking at my (new to me used) old Acoustic Control Corp. Model 126 Bass Combo amp as it lay there on its side. I thought hmmmm maybe I should pop the wheels (casters) off to make a little more room and also ensure that they won't rattle like crazy when I diggin into some lows, after all, they were just kinda hanging in the air there. I use my old Model 126 on it's side as the foundation for my current Acoustic stack, sometimes I just use it and sometimes I incorporate it's 15" cab into my rig with the new B600H, it works out well. So I pop the casters off, give them a quick shot of WD-40 for good measure, wipe them down and start to put them in a big zip lock for safe keeping. Then I thought, hey, just for grins I wonder if by some strange chance these might just fit into either my new Acoustic B410 or B115 cabinet. If not, then at least I'll have an idea anyway of what I need to shop for out there in caster land. Well, much to my surprise, YES, they do fit, as snug as a glove. I just thought that was pretty damn cool! 
Kudos, to Stacknobuser and the new Acoustic Team for the awesome Heavy Duty retro-engineering!!! Who says "They don't make them like that anymore"? It kinda made me want to jump into my 72 Plymouth Fury III and go for a fast spin around the block, sorta like a bad action scene out of Adam-12...too bad it's long gone though. Anyways great job!

Those pop-out casters are pretty much the standard that the all of the music industry uses on their amplifiers. You can buy them from Ernie Ball,Peavey or from any music store.When you buy them, they will have both the male and female parts to them.

A big thanx to our "Cuzin", the Peavey casters fit my SWR cabs, the Ernie Ball's fit my Sunn cabs FYI. The Peavey's sell for 'bout $25 and ya git 4 sockets, 4 casters and 16 screws ta boot! Hey anybody want to start a "Sunn" club?If ya got any Sunn gear we should do it. Dang I wanna belong to something besides the AARP! So How about a Sunn Club? At least I am in the Acoustic Club. woo-hoo. #72.

Thanks for the low down on the casters, I had heard from somewhere that all were pretty much created equal but now I know I can take it to the bank should I need too. For now, four vintage casters is all I will need.I guess I can pat myself on the back once more for playing the role of Capt. Obvious, if I could play bass that well I'd really be doin' somethin' huh?

i recently bought one of the new acoustic 1x15 cabs. it sounds great and is pretty light weight but the tolex is getting destroyed. just moving to and from practice a few times caused the back tolex to begin to peel. than once i started gigging it it all started to peel.
but thats nothin a little gorilla glue didnt fix. also, i was told when i bought it that if it breaks you can bring it to guitar center and they just give you a knew one. dont know how accurate it is but its what the GC salesgirl told me.

That's what I was told at GC too. I have a B410 and B115 and so far I have not encountered any Tolex peeling. But on the other hand I have not yet lugged mine around that much either. I'm sure we would all be curious to see if GC will honor "peeling Tolex" and go ahead and replace just in case their was a bad glue batch or something. Please let us know what they say/do.

How long will they replace em though?? Is that part of their 30 day guarantee or does it go beyond that?
They got me with the extended warranty deal just in case, was only an extra $50 for both the B200H and the B115.
No trouble with either one yet but then again Ive only had it for a little under a month and we'll finally be lugging the head and 2 B115s to a gig this saturday..
