Hi Bassmore!
I will think of you when I play my concert bass amp.
Shoot I paid beeg bux fer it...$129.00 only missing the handle.
My son is learning bass. I played about 10 gigs with the Concert Bass amp atop 2 SWR Goliath III Cabinets(8 10" speakers) and it rocks pretty good, no match for my 370 and 2 301 cabinets though. I left a review of it in BGRA and Harmony Central. take it easy and shoot me a note Bassmore.

Sunnmon,

Absolutely awesome! Yeah, the Sunn Concert was my very first real amp, back in 77 or so, I had it and one of their 2 x 15cabs which went away also...eventually I had the the Concert pushing two Ampeg B25B cabs (2 x 15" each) one of which I had loaded with JBL's, I can't recall if I was ever able to swap out the original CTSs with JBL's on the second one...funny how just now I remember how the Ampegs had XLR's on the back, I guess the Nuetrik (or whatever) is the "new" Switchcraft XLR:D.
Anyways, for some reason, I traded in my Sunn Concert for a GK400RB which was way sweet as well. Now I wish I had them both back:scowl:...just because I guess;), I mean I'm totally into Acoustic at this point:D!

Welcome again,

Welcome aboard guys to the land of Loud and Blue!

Hello Owl,
I must assume that my club number is #73, is this correct?
Last night I played thru my "economy" rig...an Acoustic 140 and a beat to death 406 wide with white dust capped 15"s.
Cost me dearly..$200 for the set! Ya got ta be thrifty. And yes I am a spoiled brat equipment-wise.
Rock on to Humble Pie...Greg riddley is one of my favorite "users". P bass and several 360's.

Hello Bassmore,
Thanx for the good kharma. Magnavox XLR on the back of the B25B cab was not really a shielded XLR just Ampegs way back then of keeping you using Ampeg cabs AND amps.
Most B25b's had a switch for 4 ohms(parallel) and 16 ohms(series) speakers and if you used any other brand of amp you had to modify either jack or cable. My old buddy had a set, the B25b and Cabinet, I think it had Altec 421A 15"s. My first amp was a 1968 Fender Dual Showman with JBL D-140f's. Back in 1971. Help me I am old....
