Probably so…but it still looks cool that way!Gotta admit that I regret removing the horn from the cab, should have just left it disconnected and kept the original look. It has JBL E130 speakers in it

Thank you! Eager to make use of this head & get amplified!Welcome! Someone will help you here I'm sure.
Me…being the caveman I am…I would put very good bass speaker(s) in it and call it a day.Thank you! Eager to make use of this head & get amplified!
I read your post wrong. Any good speaker cab rated for the watts output or more will sound great. An Acoustic club that's about amps…perfect!
I have a 120 head (still working last time I tried not to blow out a speaker) that I need to match up with a speaker + enclosure, now that I have a bass.
Are there links to (say) a comparison of enclosure designs pro/con, or recommendations for speaker size, wattage, impedance, whatever that would be compatible w/ the 120? I've been searching around, but I'm only 10 weeks with a bass in my hands, so I don't know if I know the right questions to ask. I know all this is super basic for the good folks here, but links would be priceless if you know of any.
As a post-meltdown retiree, there's no buying an Acoustic speaker cab or other $$$ options except Craigslist…which is cool, but I need to be informed enough to know what to jump on (and when). I'm capable of building an enclosure myself, but again, I'm trying to educate myself.
ANY help at all is gratefully appreciated

Buy the best you can afford.

Egg on my face here…it's NOT a 120.It's just a head…and I'm still trying to learn what 'good' & 'very good' means for speakers (SO new to the bass…). No bassist acquaintances.
