well, I'm kinda silly lookin anyway, so it would fit right in with my "look"! I guess I was just looking for an easy out if I ever get to play larger places. Right now, the B100 holds it own for what I do.

Yeah, I know... my B200 is 75 lbs. All depends on the selling price to decide if shipping is worthwhile... that's why I'm hopin' for local FL sale.
I saw that Mudd got you the new website address... I like it, but can't stand that they still have wrong/conflicting info regarding some of the models (i.e. amp load, speakers in series vs. parallel) and outdated owner's manuals.
You'd think they'd get those corrected for Pete's sake!
And, like you Joe, it irks me to no end that they don't have a customer service phone line... just an email address that is occasionally answered in 30 days time.
You'd think that if they want to play with the big boys, they'd do a better job at customer relations!
Regarding the B450: I knew you had one and knew you liked it (not as much as your B600H + cabs), but I guess they are either new enough or uncommon enough not to have any out there for sale on the second-hand market... I mean there aren't ANY to be found.... I may have to wait for a super-duper deal from GC, MF, or M123.

I saw one used for sale at GC about a month ago - but I don't think it was there this week when I went.
Since the B-450 can drive some serious heat into 2Ω, I don't think they'll be traded in or sold for a while yet. They are just too good for someone to want to dump them for something different I think.
I know I won't let go of mine willfully. I've actually had a total of 14-10" drivers on it at one time including the 2-10s inside it.
Next week I get my B-410 back from a place where I left it as a jam unit - so I guess I need to finally get rid of the bed in my room.
Sleep is seriously overrated anyway. Next I get my B-810 back from down the hill (palm Desert) and then I don't know if I can even get back into the house when my wife sees it again.
Ugh! Wimmen - they just don't understand!
A slight rumble, under-the-radar rumor flying around, is to wait to see what's up at GC when something new might show up in their house brand. I've got no particulars - but smoke is rising from the rumor mill.

I already knew that it was considered (unofficially) the house brand of GC/MF/M123, but it seems that you're implying a direct "manufactured for" relationship?
BTW, Hogan's Heroes was one of my favorite shows growing up... when I do Sergeant Schultz impersonations at work now they look at me like I have a toe growing out of my forehead...kids these days have no appreciation for true comedy television!

My lips are sealed yet - but I had a hint from some suits at a 'store' somewhere a few weeks ago, and a change or two is coming if I wasn't led astray.

I can plug into speaker out, but that doesn't cut the built-in driver, of course.
I have an XLR to 1/4" adapter and tried that on the line out, but no sound (I think that signal must be "pre-amp").

I believe the XLR OUT on the amp is between the pre and the final amp. I know it is on the B-450 and the B-600H.
Hmmm - never having to want to do this myself, I would have to leave this to someone experienced with this system, and there aren't too many using the Acoustic line - or at least they don't all admit it.
Lessee ---- how about taking the XLR-OUT and running it through an ART TUBEAMP to your headphones?
The ART has both XLR In-Out and 1/4" In-Out - so that should be easy.
I've never tried it myself, but this makes sense to me - at least an attempt could be made.
DO keep the volume down and bB Boost OFF though!
Report back on how much smoke leaks out.
If you have something like the MXR80 - I bet it could do this same trick too as it has all sorts of In-Out possibilities.
Yeah, or maybe through a DI box, but I was trying to avoid that (besides, I don't have any other amps/DI/pedals anyway)... oh well, worth asking.
Looks like from studying the signal flow diagram for B200 & B200H, that there is no signal that bypasses the volume control... the B600H and B450 do, to both the dedicated tuner jack and the XLR (before the mute button circuit)... yet another reason I want to graduate to a B450!
