I agree that the dual humbucker on the main page is gorgeous. I would not mind one of those, especially at that price point.

You have one of the earlier US built models...very nice, just not the same as what you see on the current website.I just bought a used TBC 4 string. It has 2 humbuckers, but there is no pickguard at all. The body stain is darker than those on the website.
On the back of the headstock it says " Handcrafted in the USA" and a serial number 000228 below it.
What model do I have, and what year is it?
Any help greatly appreciated!!
Also, I want to change the strings - does it take regular long scale, or super long scale?

A local to me has a couple AP400M for sale at $400 each. This is more than what is on the website. However, I would not have to pay for shipping, etc.
Also, I have made several calls and no answer or return call. Also my Emails have not been responded too. Neither bother me, as I'm assuming this is a small company, and/or are on summer hiatus.
Is $400 a good price used, given limited availability? Can I do better?
Mark
needmoney,
Thing is, this is a private party and not even a shop! All the more reason not to pay the markup then.
The basses have not sold in about two weeks, so maybe he his getting a bit hungry. He Emailed me yesterday asking if I was still interested.
Anybody buy a new USA made model yet?
