I've owned them... Warwick Corvette $$, 75 Jazz Bass and a MM Stingray. I don't own any now but I would again haha
I lusted after a hardcore aged Roquefort blue Sandberg Jazz and managed to get it, I'm not disappointed.
For me, it's either a dingwall, or a MM bongo 5. I'm definitely happy with my Ibby until I'm okay with forking over a few grand.

I have the bass, my 97 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass. Bought it new so all the nicks, dings, scratches are from me. It's been my main bass for practice, gigging, recording and always sounds and plays amazing.

I've been searching for a Fender Hojin Egawa Jazz Bass since first seeing them in the late 1990's catalogs. I finally found one after several misses and took delivery yesterday. Sadly, I still can't play like him.
I've wanted this since 1972. My 4001CS is close. This 4001v63 nails it, for me.

I can relate. Going from my original squier II Korean flat body plywood no pickguard precision bass, that I ripped the frets out of shortly later, to a briefly owned ibanez tr80 p/j which got traded in for my first jazz bass MIM, being a rush fan the jazz bass was for me. In 98 instead of the new geddy Lee, which was special order in my parts at the time, I bought an american standard jazz bass, N8 serial, new. Every ding was from me or one of my little cousins, and it ended up being my most used bass.
I did get a geddy shortly after on the used market, and did play it a bit, but decided to baby it so it hasn't come out of the case/storage in years. I have a 2000 MIA p bass that I also bought new, and always favored the J, but now I am starting to like the P a lot more.
I went through a Warwick stage and happened to score an FNA as well in 2000 for the price of a "pro deal" discounted corvette standard (GC receiving mistake, serial matched, but invoice said corvette), there was a 5 string on the wall with the same mistake ($999 instead of $1400ish), a year later I bought it used from a guy who beat it up a bit with his rings and bulging biceps and overall oafyness for $500! In the interim I had found a 98 5 for $800.
So basically I have 6 basses to be really proud of, that don't leave me wanting. And ironically, the first one is still my main bass, since most bands I have been in have not been appropriate for Warwick's, though they stand ready for the opportunity, I do not shoehorn them in where a fender looks and sounds more appropriate
.I now have gas for a "backup" P, can't quite bring myself to go sx or squier though, MIM is as far as I would likely go. Since my geddy is sort of retired, that would make me gas for a jazz backup as well, where the sire v7 is a consideration since it can backup the jazz in passive mode, and possibly the fna in active mode. Though my Ibby sr500 with wenge neck kinda fits that as is.
I don't have gas, I have OCD.

OP asked for just one so I'd go with the Warwick if I saw all 3 going for around the same and I had the money.
