The Best Bands, Their Worst Moments

To me, anything The Moody Blues did after their first seven albums (Days Of Future Past to Seventh Sojourn) qualifies as their worst moments. Also, pretty much anything Genesis did after the 70s also qualifies.
Sabbath lost it with Technical Ecstasy, but a nice recovery with Heaven and Hell...
AC/DC, since always. 
Death Magnetic was decent, but the demo album somehow gives Kirk and Rob more justice. I think both of them are absolutely amazing musicians, but are just caught up in being in Metallica to really let loose.
The Scorpions newer material isn't up to my standards, but a freaking epic live show and playing the old material makes up for it in my eyes.

metal has never been better, there is way more variety and musicianship in metal today than there ever has been.

I think I'm the only one who actually liked Death Magnetic. I mean duh, it's not as amazing as Black Album and older 'tallica, but All Nightmare Long is one of my favorite Metallica songs ever.
And not that I'm admitting to liking Green Day
but how can you not appreciate "American Idiot?" unless maybe you happen to be a Republican?

I liked Death Magnetic too
Infact I like everything Metallica has done, even St Anger. It's nice to have a change of pace every now and then 
Rush's song Roll the Bones.. Why are we here.. because we're here... etc.. then the rap.. seriously.. what were they thinking..
Alex Lifeson's guitar sound on A Show of HAnds.. the poor production.. there's not a worse sounding guitar sound than his Signature + GK amps.. twangy... just horrible. love the guy, though.

I would also have to say.. MEtallica's deal.. where they had "Bob Rock" play bass on their album.. because they were shopping for a bassist.. that band, or those guys, don't apparently respect bass players much.. also.. Lars' tom sound is absolutely horrendous on that record.. I don't even know the record's name.. it's just horrible.. the the singing is akin to rapping.. it doesn't even fit the songs.. the phrasing..

Really? I like that song. Very catchy, cool effects.
I completely disagree. I personally think this was some of their best work in years. It's very diverse, musically, Bono's not trying to sing in that ridiculous head-nose voice that you hear, for instance in "Silver and Gold" from Rattle and Hum, the lyrics are not bad at all. In fact, Moment of Surrender has become one of my favorite songs.
Oh well, to each his own.

I actually think The Unnamed Feeling on St. Anger is a really cool song. But probably the only song on St. Anger I can stand listening to. Also the short version of St. Anger. (8 minutes of that snare is jusT TOO MUCH). I was really dissapointed in Chinese Democracy, I thought it was outright ****.
The Who after Moon died was pretty bad, but "You Better You Bet" rocks.
My humble submission for great bands' worst moment is Bob Dylan in the 80's.
Also, the Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson Taco Bell commercials from the early 90's were pretty terrible. Youtube it if you don't believe me.

I've never heard Big Generator either. I've heard the Yes Album, Fragile, some of Going for the one, but that's about it.
