Remember I have 4 Laklands and 2 Bongos ...hahaha!!
I love them all.
Bongos are truly a one in a million bass...BMW and EBMM hit a home run with these things.
Have ya played one? They do make em in 5'ers ya know :D

The chatter about alternate pick guards sparked my curiosity (which killed my cat, but left me unharmed. Well worth it). Anyway, I remembered, after a few turns of the driver and a bit of cleanup, that I much prefer simply naked. I know the guard is there for a reason, but I'll be gentle. Nakedness deserves gentleness ;)

Now, a few drops of orange paint to make those screw holes just a bit less distracting...

...the first shot —*with the flash on —*shows off the 'pearl' under the tangerine. The rest of the shots are without flash...

Mrfstop... hahahahah!! Doude? Whattaya doing on the Bongo Club thread bro? LOL :) Actually, I couldn't help but notice the beautiful pair of Bongo's you've put together. You always find amazing examples.

I sold my three Bongo 5HH's back in December and I've been watching for a Bongo 4H. We'll I finally found one and I'll be back in Bongo land within a week.

Doesn't take away from my Spector love:hiding:

I have two now..
Same 2004 Lava Pearl I had from the start.
AND scored a new old stock 2008 LE sequoia gold recently.
Bongos are VERY unique basses. Like nothing else.

I recently found what THAT is all about.
Loving the one I grabbed quite a bit! :D

Sooooooo now she does not know when a new one shows up on the brown truck on NBD :D hahaha!!

My wife is very cool about it if I'm careful:-) She even suggested hanging all of my basses all over the house! My Mesa stack in in the family room!
